We are a Te Kotahitanga school with a student roll of 820, of whom 65% are Maori. The school is decile 4, and acknowledged for its innovative curriculum and initiatives. The BOT provides laptops to all teachers. Applicants are expected to be involved in the co-curricular life of the school.

This challenging role involves the following but is not limited to:
- Setup, imaging and servicing of computers, laptops, printers, mobile phones, wireless.
- Asset tracking and liaison with suppliers of equipment.
- Basic staff user training and assistance.
- Network connections, patching and verifying connectivity including telephones.
- Logging and action of support calls.
- Adding and maintaining users in Active Directory.
- Setting and adjusting permissions for access to files.
- Documentation of systems, configuration, and licenses.
- Assisting with recommendations and planning for changes to meet staff needs.
- A working knowledge of ISA, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, FileMaker Pro, VMWare Virtual Server, Moodle, would be an advantage.
- Applicants are required to have excellent customer service and communication skills as this is a frontline position. Along with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and the ability to work within a supportive team environment.
