Photography

Photography is a creative and challenging University approved subject, which can be taken in Year 12 and 13. This is an art subject, where the students learn to create digital photographs, with a strong emphasis on manually controlling a DSLR Camera, followed by complex and awe-inspiring computer manipulated imagery. Students will learn to control; depth of field, shutter speed effects, studio lighting as they develop their ideas and master Adobe Photoshop.

Thanks to our past senior students, we now have an amazing collection of senior Folios lent to us for the year to inspire our girls. To have examples of Scholarship, Excellence and Merit on our walls and wonderful workbook exemplars clarify what is required has raised our expectations and performance levels already this year.
