Hockey has a young and enthusiastic following with numbers continuing to increase year upon year. Our 1st XI hockey team is making its way up the ranks. While we only have one team, all players are welcome. If you love hockey, we love you!.
Games
All hockey games are played on Thursday night in Rotorua or in the Bay of Plenty/Taupo area depending on the grade. Games can be played from 4.15pm - 7pm at night.
Fees
Hockey fees are $180 per season. As a Winter Tournament Week sport, there will also be an additional cost to attend this tournament, which varies depending on the location (approximately $450). A pre-season tournament may also be offered at an additional cost (approximately $22).
Training
Training takes place once a week (usually on Tuesdays), with pre-season training held in Term One. During the season, teams have a weekly game.
Uniform
Players will be issued with a shirt and skirt. Players are required to purchase their own socks, shin pads, and mouthguard. We also encourage students to purchase a Rautāwhiri hoodie.
