While there is no regular weekly competition for Rugby League, we do enter the Waikato/BOP Rugby 9’s tournament (U15 girls and open girls teams) in Term One and then the 2 day New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby League tournament in Term 3. 2025 was our first year entering these tournaments finishing first in both grades at Legaue 9’s and 2nd at Nationals.
2026 Season
There are no weekly games, just tournaments throughout the year. Keep posted to the Facebook pages for trial and training dates and times.
Trainings
Usually 2 sessions per week in season.
2026 Fees
Fee’s Rugby League 9’s - $40-$60 NZSS Rugby League Nationals - This is a tournament fee which includes accommodation, transport, food etc $450-$550 approximately.
Uniform
Uniform will be provided and needs to be handed back at the end of the tournaments. You may purchase your own Rautāwhiri Pride Shirt and Hoodie.
