Raukura Kapa Haka Academy – Applications Open!
We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the first intake of the Raukura Kapa Haka Academy for 2027!
The Academy is an opportunity for students who are passionate about kapa haka and want to develop their performance skills, te reo Māori, tikanga, leadership, confidence and whanaungatanga. Students will take part in a dedicated weekly wānanga with opportunities for rehearsals, workshops, performances and specialist tutoring.
Applications are open to all current students, as well as current Year 8 students who are enrolled to start at Rotorua Girls’ High School in 2027.
If your daughter is passionate about kapa haka, wants to challenge herself and be part of something special, we encourage her to apply!
